Relaxation Awaits

Christine’s massage style is deeply relaxing. Clients can expect a firm but gentle massage that relaxes the nervous system while providing relief to tense aching muscles.

Her women’s health focused work includes abdominal massage, prenatal, postpartum, and lymphatic drainage.

My Massage Style

I combine multiple modalities of massage into each treatment session (Swedish, hot stone, deep tissue, lymphatic drainage, etc.). During most sessions, I work at what most consider a moderate to firm level of pressure. I work deeper in specific areas when it will help relieve tension or release “sticky” tissues.

I find it helpful to add light stretching, and gentle movement into client sessions. When combined with traditional massage, this sends a message to the brain to relax. This neurological approach works very well for clients who can’t tolerate traditional deep tissue work.

Pain? No Gain…

I don’t provide painfully deep massages. I prefer to engage the neurological system in a way that encourages the whole body to relax. This allows me to sink gently into the tissues.

Origin of Full Cycle Massage

When I first came up with the concept of Full Cycle Massage, I hadn’t even enrolled at the Florida School of Massage.  I left a cushy corporate job to follow my dream of creating a space that would empower women to love their bodies through all of the cycles of life.

During school my interests broadened. I gained a fascination with the mind-body connection and the psychosomatic power of touch. While the foundation of my practice is still women’s health, I am interested in working with a variety of physical and emotional challenges.

Fast forward to today and I continue following my dream. Fresh out of school I become a Certified Arvigo® Practitioner and have since become a Certified Manual Lymphatic Drainage Therapist, and Pregnancy Massage Specialist.  I spent 3 years perfecting my craft at a high end spa in Austin, TX. Today you can find me in the treatment room or seeking additional training to broaden my tool box of knowledge.
